I can almost guarantee this will be the cutest video of a bear cub being rescued by a police officer you'll see all day. Well, at least from New Jersey.

It happened in Ringwood. The Ringwood PBA posted this video on their Instagram account to remind people to please take down their sports nets when not in use. Animals, usually deer and not bears, tend to get caught in them. They believe this one was from a backyard batting cage. A Ringwood Detective Joe Longo came to the bear cub's rescue. The bear of course didn't realize he was there to help, and looks like he wants to take a good swipe at him. Using a knife, he's able to open up a piece of the net enough for the bear to make his getaway.

Nice job, detective!
