NEWARK — A suspect who's been wanted in the double murder and shooting last month in Orange was finally arrested Saturday after police pulled over his car for a traffic stop.

Stevenson Valentin, 28, is the suspect in the Nov. 3 shooting that killed 1-year-old Marcus Milien and the child's uncle, Morlens Milice, 21. The baby’s father and a 15-year-old boy also were injured in the shooting.

Police say the gunman had opened fire on a family sitting on their porch and then fled.

Stevenson was charged with two counts of murder, two counts of aggravated assault and weapons charges.

He was being held Saturday at Essex County jail with bail set $1 million with no 10 percent option.

Authorities did not reveal a motive for the shooting. A car also was torched at the scene.
