Three Pedestrians Struck in North Jersey Police Pursuit

The Essex County prosecutor's office says three pedestrians have been struck during a police pursuit of a suspected stolen car.

A spokeswoman for the office says the three victims have been taken to a local hospital with relatively minor injuries.

The police pursuit Thursday began in East Orange and ended in Newark.

The spokeswoman says it's not immediately clear whether the pedestrians were struck by the police vehicle or the suspected stolen car.
