
Tanker fire causes traffic delays in South Jersey — See video
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (Gloucester) — A tanker fire on Route 42 caused big delays on two South Jersey highways Wednesday morning.
CBS Philly reported the tanker caught fire on the Black Horse Pike around 11:30 a.m. in the Turnersville section of the township, shutting down road at the Atlantic City Expressway.
Traffic was detoured onto the southbound Expressway, causing a multi-mile delay.
Police did not return a message seeking more information Wednesday afternoon.
