NJ police officers take a beating in the press. Aside from #BlueFriday, where we highlight all the good that our local officers are doing in the their communities, I wanted to bring to light the fact the misconceptions about officers and the pension system.
Earlier today we had a conversation with Pat Colligan, the President of the NJSPBA. He was going through Facebook over the weekend and stumbled on a post with a picture of medical gloves in a vending machine.
Pat Colligan is the President of the NJ Policeman’s Benevolent Association and he joined me in studio at NJ 101.5 this morning to discuss the struggle some departments are having recruiting new members.
