Sunday night, U2 frontman Bono joined Springsteen and the E Street Band on at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

January 16th, 1996 - Jimmy Buffett finds inspiration for a new song 'Jamaica Mistaica' when Jamaican authorities open fire on his seaplane, mistaking it for a drug trafficker's plane.

December 12th, 1970 – Smokey Robinson and the Miracles start a two week run at No.1 on the singles chart with ‘Tears Of A Clown’. It was the group’s 26th Top 40 hit and first No.1.

Bono is a launching an all-star campaign featuring "once-in-a-lifetime experiences" that can be won after donating at least $10 to his organization (RED), which raises funds to fight AIDS. The campaign kicks off Tuesday to coincide with World AIDS Day, which is Dec. 1.

Aerosmith makes an animated guest appearance on the Simpsons show. They aren't the first musical act to appear in the animated comedy and they won't be the last either.

November 22nd, 1986 – The Human League goes to No.1 on the singles chart with ‘Human.’ It would become their second, million-selling number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 (after “Don’t You Want Me”) and was their second chart-topper in the U.S.

December 14th, 1998 - Billy Preston pleads guilty to insurance fraud in a LA court and agrees to testify against six others who allegedly participated in similar acts. Allegedly, Preston was part of a group who staged car crashes, thefts, and fires for a total of 18 fraudulent insurance claims...

November 23rd, 1975 - Queen starts a 9 week run at No.1 in the UK with ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ The promotional video for this song is generally acknowledged as being the first pop video ever. When they first decided to release the 5min and 55sec single, various record execs suggested to them that it was too long to ever be a hit, they didn’t listen and the rest is history...
