Twenty-one-year-old Jeffery Ellerbee is the second young man charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses in the death of Genesis Rincon. He entered his plea in Paterson Tuesday.

The girl was struck in the head on July 5 as she rode to a family gathering in Paterson. She was kept on life support for several days until her organs were donated.

Prosecutors also charged 19-year-old Jhymiere Moore with murder. He's pleaded not guilty.

A third man, 19-year-old Marshae Anthony, is charged with weapons offenses.

Prosecutors have said Rincon was not the intended target.
