The Bolt Bus carrying 50 people from Philadelphia to New York slid down an embankment  shortly before 3 p.m in a northbound lane in Mercer County near exit 60 for Interstate 295 according to WPVI TV.

"I just kind of hunkered down and the bus just wouldn't stop it just kept going and going and going. Eventually it just stopped, it was very very scary," Yvette Ganier told WPVI TV.

Authorities said it did not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the accident

Sgt. Brian Polite said one passenger was being treated for a minor hip injury but 14 others were hospitalized as a precaution. The remaining passengers continued on a different bus to New York.

Bolt Bus in a statement to WPVI TV said the company is refunding all passengers who were on  board.
