Romney is slated to attend a Sept. 10 fundraiser for the New Jersey Republican Party in East Brunswick. The event is billed as a birthday celebration for Christie, who turns 52 on Sept. 6.

General admission tickets for the event will be $150. Tickets for a private reception (limited to 75 guests) will cost $5,000, while roundtable tickets (limited to 20 guests) cost $25,000 per person.

Christie was the first governor to endorse Romney's presidential bid, and he raised millions for him during the 2012 campaign.
