Recall: Burning love! Mugs from Target cause sparks in microwave, instead of Valentine

When you look into your love's eyes, you want to feel a spark. When you put her mug in the microwave, you really don't.

Target is recalling "Love Today" Valentine's mugs mistakenly labeled as microwave safe — the metallic print on the mug can spark, posing a fire hazard, according to a notice by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Target has gotten three reports of mugs sparking, but no injuries have been reported, the CPSC said.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mugs and return them to Target for a full refund. Consumers can also contact (home decor company) Illume for return instructions and a full refund.
