POLL: Do you think the PennEast pipeline is a good idea?

There was a very heated debate today on Jim's show over the proposed pipeline that would run through Mercer and Hunterdon counties.

The pipeline is designed to bring a natural supply of gas to an estimated $4.7million homes, according to an article on NJ.com.

There were callers that saw the value in bringing another source of natural gas to New Jersey. Those that were for it saw a new pipeline could help drop the prices.

Those opposed didn't understand the need for another pipeline and didn't agree with their being enough value for it. Most opposed also mentioned that they believed that another pipeline would mess up the natural landscape of local residential areas.
