I wonder who it was that said Halloween displays and costumes needed to be in good taste.
Last night I talked about a couple of Halloween costumes that some might consider out of the bounds of good taste.

One of the bigger selling items this year will be the faux hazmat suit.
Naturally some find it creative – others offensive.

Much the same with some guy wearing the #27 Ray Rice Raven’s jersey - dragging a blowup doll behind him – reenacting the Ray Rice domestic violence scenario that had recently taken place at Revel.

Now comes word of a macabre display in South Jersey featuring a number of hanging dolls make to look like dead babies.

Some neighbors on the block think it’s in the spirit of the holiday while others feel it’s too much.

According to myfoxphilly.com,the display was set up by the Krueger family of Bellmawr – much to the horror of neighbors who want the display taken down.

Ironically their name is Krueger, so it's fitting that they'd have a display featuring hanging babies.

And to the dismay of some, the family is standing by their display.

And as much as I’m not a fan of seeing hanging babies – fact is we’re bombarded by more and more scary images either on TV or in the movies. Babies that are possessed by demons, man-eating clowns; things of that sort.

Putting it all in perspective – Halloween is supposed to be a time when one’s fantasy is let loose - and if someone's idea of "fun" is wearing a hazmat suit, reenacting the Ray Rice scene, or hanging babies from a tree - then so be it!

If seeing the “fantasy” of others being put on display frightens you or somehow disgusts you; maybe you’d be better off staying inside on the 31st!

Do you find a Halloween display featuring dead babies “over the top?”
