Police Lead Man From Paramus Office Building
Police say a man who barricaded himself in a Paramus office building went there to confront a company official.
Paramus Police Chief Christopher Brock says 63-year-old Khalet Ringo is a two-decade employee of Exxon who "had a beef with the company."
The chief says Ringo pulled a handgun on a company official -- though the weapon may have been inoperable. The official got away around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
But the two-story office building was evacuated.
Police say Ringo walked out of the building and was driven away by police shortly before 2 p.m. after an officer who knew him talked him into giving himself up.
