Cherry Hill police say 21-year-old Amanda Platt, of Dennis Township, and 34-year-old Pornthip Charoensook, of Egg Harbor Township, are also accused of using a juvenile to commit a criminal offense. Charoensook also was charged with hindering apprehension after authorities say she provided false information about her identity.

Authorities did not say if or how either woman was related to the child, who was sitting in a car seat mounted to a stroller. The arrests occurred Saturday.

The stolen cosmetics were valued at more than $500, but further details were not disclosed.
