PARCC boycott – Elizabeth mom posts signs

For many New Jersey students the PARCC tests begin today. The tests are beginning despite the uproar among students, teachers, and parents.

One parent, Christina Moriera, is doing her best to get the word out that Elizabeth students don’t have to take the standardized test. The mother of two has put up signs on trees reading "Elizabeth Schools, you can refuse the PARCC."

Her efforts have continued despite the school sending her a letter asking her to stop. The  signs were later altered with duct tape.
