Ground Hog Day is Feb. 2 and on that day, according to folklore, if it's cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow, the spring season will arrive early, some time before the vernal equinox. If it is sunny, however, and the groundhog sees its shadow, it will retreat back into its den, and winter will continue for six more weeks.

In the 1993 Bill Murray movie "Ground Hog Day, he keeps reliving the same day over and over, so I recently asked my followers on social media: "What happens over and over in New Jersey?" Here are some of your responses.

  • Chris Christie
  • In Roosevelt we vote on whether to keep the fire house. I think the third time is coming up sometime in March.
  • Property taxes going up
  • Corruption
  • Road work
  • Pension never gets fixed
  • Sho-bees/bennies
  • Construction
  • Bad Driving
  • The F bomb!
