It could be a snowy weekend for some portions of northwest New Jersey.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Saturday for Morris, Sussex and Warren Counties and says that 4 to 6 inches could fall there.

Rain and snow are likely over most of the state Saturday, when temperatures aren't expected to rise above the 40s.

Other areas of northern New Jersey are under frost warnings starting late Thursday or early Friday and continuing into Friday morning.
