NJ Transit Offering Early Getaway Service

New Jersey Transit is offering early getaway service for the start of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Trains will operate out of New York City on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex and Port Jervis lines starting at approximately 1 p.m. Friday.

Extra buses will operate from the Port Authority Bus Terminal on more than three dozen routes starting around noon.

NJ Transit trains will operate on a weekend and holiday schedule on Monday.
