NJ student found dead behind Florida restaurant

BOCA RATON, Fla. — A college student from Franklin Lakes was found dead behind a Florida restaurant on Saturday morning.

Boca Raton Police said a cleaning crew found the body of Shayan Mortazavi, 18, who attended Lynn University,  behind the Truluck restaurant at the Mizner Park shopping center around 6:15 a.m.

WPEC-TV reported that police initially thought his death was but suspicious. Following an investigation, however, police said his injuries indicated he fell.

Mortazavi was a freshman who was not undecided on a major but was interested in film and multimedia journalism, according to a statement from the school. His Facebook profile links to his YouTube channel where he described himself as "YouTube's only Iranian American prankster."
