A New Jersey school bus driver has been charged with drunk driving after crashing an empty bus into a tree.

Police tell The Star-Ledger that Lori Ann Aceta was driving the bus through East Brunswick when she ran off the road on Monday.

She was being treated Monday evening for injuries that were not considered life threatening.

Authorities say the 53-year-old Monmouth Junction resident was driving a bus belonging to the Monroe-based Phoenix Bus Company. It wasn't clear if she was headed to pick up students.
