New Jersey's attorney general says James Wiley pleaded guilty Tuesday to official misconduct charges in superior court in Hudson County.

Prosecutors say the 67-year-old routinely using North Bergen employees to clean and repair his home, including installing a hot tub and putting up Christmas lights. Work was often done on Saturdays, when employees were paid overtime. Prosecutors say Wiley falsified their paperwork to make it look like township work.

He also admitted to using workers for on-the-clock political campaign work. Wiley recently retired.
