Two organizations in New Jersey, along with 14 others around the nation, are getting grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to develop programs and services to reduce opioid abuse and overdose deaths in women.

The state Senate will vote this month to block Gov. Chris Christie from reorganizing how state government oversees mental health and addiction treatment in New Jersey, according to a key senator.
