Neptune City Man Indicted in Girlfriend’s Stabbing Death
A central New Jersey man accused of fatally stabbing his live-in girlfriend earlier this year has been indicted on aggravated manslaughter and weapons charges.
The indictment charging 34-year-old Jarrone Perry of Neptune City was handed up Monday by a Monmouth County grand jury.
Prosecutors say Perry fatally stabbed 30-year-old Kamealah Talmadge in her upper chest on Feb. 13, as they argued inside the home they shared. But a motive for the alleged attack has not been disclosed.
Perry and Talmadge were the parents of a young daughter, and Talmadge had a son from another relationship.
Perry remains jailed on $1.5 million bail. He faces up to 35 years in prison if convicted on both counts.
