LODI — A Lodi mother is suing the school district, claiming her son was sexually harassed by four students at Wilson Elementary school last year, and school staff did not intervene.

According to the lawsuit, filed in Superior Court in Hackensack, the students said the boy "likes boys" and enjoys performing oral sex on them, NJ Advance Media first reported Thursday. The mother claims she reported the incidents to the principal and teachers, but nothing was done.

The lawsuit also alleges that staff members believed her son was gay based on the four students' harassment, and that this perception made the problem worse. She believes the school violated state Law Against Discrimination.
