Man Dies in Linden House Fire

The investigation continues into a house fire that claimed the life of a man in Linden.Firefighters responded to the 1 1/2-story Cape Cod home on Keep Street on Wednesday afternoon.

Police Capt. James Sarnicki tells the Home News Tribune firefighters found 54-year-old Edward Bazydlo dead inside his home.

Sarnicki says it appears the fire started on the first floor and spread to the roof.

It took firefighters about an hour to get the blaze under control.
