‘Liberty and prosperity?’ Not in New Jersey — Why our state flag needs updating

Depending on what list and when it was published our state flag ranks pretty low on the scale of all 50 states.

The latest survey ranks New Jersey #37 on a list of the best designs for US state flags. I'm willing to bet most residents wouldn't be able to pick it out from the other 49. It actually was pretty creative and artistic for when it was designed.

I have some thoughts and visuals on how it would best represent our state today.
