Judi Franco: ‘If I were Kaepernick’s mom, he wouldn’t hear the end of this’

When the news came to light about Camden's coach taking a knee during the National Anthem, the first thing I thought is "well, what took 'em so long?"

With the lack of respect in this country, I thought by now there'd be stadiums all over the country full of people kneeling during the Star Spangled Banner. It makes me sick to think of it. I'm getting so used to people buying into the nonsense that nothing shocks me anymore.

But coaches are grown-ups. Colin Kaepernick is just a kid. It really irks me that this kid  gets away with it. But I'm not his mom. If I were, he wouldn't hear the end of it.
