In defense of ADHD and ‘popcorning’ — Sinbad and Bill agree. Squirrel!
Finally, a guest joined me on the air who completely understood my frequent distractions in-studio and my ability to do what I call "popcorn."
Think of popcorn popping, with each kernel a different element of the conversation. Our listeners can attest that it happens frequently on the morning show. I love bacon. Speaking of popcorn, despite a full array of food from our friends at the Ewing diner, Sinbad opted to buy Smart-food from the vending machine to go with his sugared up coffee ...
Back to my point. Sinbad understood that people like us who continue to change focus, sometimes in the middle of a sentence, yes, he did go to the Ewing diner after the show for a real "Jersey" breakfast ...
... are simply focused on many things at once. It's how we're able to have a conversation, comment on the videos played in the studio and tweet pics to the audience. All at the same time.
Thanks, Sinbad. Can't wait to open for your opener Thursday night at the Stress factory! Tickets here: Stressfactory.com. See you all there at 7:30 p.m.
