I’m Going to California Next Month and I Want You to Plan My Trip

I have never been farther west than Kansas. To say that I have no idea what to expect when I go to California next month is an understatement. Aside from attending a baseball game at all five Major League Baseball stadiums out there, there are no other plans set in stone.

I'm flying out there with three friends on July 25th. We will be staying in San Francisco for three days, followed by a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway. Once we hit Los Angeles, we will be staying at a hotel in Hollywood for six days, with the exception of one night when we will be in San Diego.

I want to hear from anyone who has been out to California. What are some destinations you recommend I visit? Yes, I already tried convincing my friends to do a night in Vegas, but I don't think we'll be able to pull it off.
