How hot does it REALLY get in New Jersey during the summer?

My daughter told me yesterday that her car said it was 119 degrees in Texas. She sent me the updated temperature for today in Ft. Worth....127 degrees! 

Mine was a comparatively mild 101 degrees.  

I thought Florida was bad in the summer, and if you've ever taken your kids to Disney World this time of year you know what I mean.

But Texas is a special kinda hot. I think New Jersey can get pretty bad, especially during a week like this when the humidity is way up there. 

Car thermometers a may not be the most accurate devices on earth for reading actual temperature, but they make great screenshots to share!
