How Dennis Malloy surprised his 86 year old mother

Today is my mom's 86th birthday. I stopped by and brought some flowers yesterday, because her birthday is celebrated on two days. It's a long story for another time.

Of the many blessings I enjoy in life, by far the most important and special, is still having my mom and dad. From the way the two of them drink from two straws out of one glass at the local diner, to the way they check the weather in Dallas, Texas every morning to see what my daughter's day will be like. They are the most special couple I could ever be lucky enough to be raised by.

My sister sent me this picture last night to show me her enjoying the flowers. She looked so good I had to share it with as many people as I could. Happy birthday, Mom!
