New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, also a Republican is still ripping Boehner for cancelling the vote that was supposed to take place Tuesday night.

Christie says, "There's only one group to blame for the continued suffering of these innocent victims (of super-storm Sandy), the House majority and their Speaker John Boehner."

"This used to be something that was not political," explains Christie. "Disaster relief was something that you didn't play games with, but now in this current atmosphere everything is the subject of one-ups-manship. Everything is a possibility, a potential piece of bait for the political game. It is why the American people hate Congress. It's why they hate it……They forget we sent them there! We sent them there to do the work for us!"

Christie has become the darling of the national Republican Party and he's a sought-after speaker at campaign fundraisers throughout the country.

Asked if he might consider campaigning against Republicans who played a part in postponing the Sandy relief vote he smiled and said, "We'll see. Primaries are an ugly thing…… At the moment I wouldn't be looking to do too much for the House leadership.''

The Governor says he called the Speaker four times Tuesday night, but Boehner did not take his calls. He says he spoke with Boehner yesterday, but was given no "credible" reason why the vote was postponed.
