WEST MILFORD — Police are looking for the male driver of a van they say threw a glass soda bottle at a woman's car, which shattered her window on a North Jersey road.

NorthJersey.com reported the van driver tossed the container at the 55-year-old woman's vehicle after she pulled over to let the van pass. He had followed her for several miles from Bloomingdale into West Milford on Saturday morning, driving in a reckless manner, according to the report.

Police told NorthJersey.com that the impact broke the window on the driver's side front door, with the bottle hitting the woman in the face.

The van is believed to be a white Ram ProMaster, according to the report, which drove off.

Police asked anyone with information about the incident to call 973-838-0158.
