Get ready to party! February has plenty of holidays to celebrate
So you’re in the partying mood but you think that all February has to offer is Valentine's Day and the Super Bowl? Not to worry because apparently everyday in February is a holiday!
In fact, today is the 57th anniversary of the “Day The Music Died.” On February 3rd 1959, a plane crash killed rockers Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens. Being a huge Buddy Holly fan, I will celebrate it by listening to Buddy’s music.
February 4th is “Thank a Mailman Day,’ you can celebrate that however you see fit. Following that, February 5th is "National Weatherman Day," a favorite of meteorologist Dan Zarrow.
Everyday in February is some sort of holiday from “Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day," to "National Lame Duck Day." There's even “Do A Grouch A Favor Day.” There’s always some reason to celebrate, so keep a list on the fridge and refer to it the next time you need a reason to party!
