MIDDLESEX COUNTY


George Washington, retired Continental Army Commander in Chief and First President of the United States, will be celebrated at Rockingham on Saturday, February 25, with tours commemorating his 285th birthday. While Washington will only be present in spirit (and in the form of our wonderful life-sized mannequin in exactingly-recreated uniform on the second floor), visitors can learn about his life and times, before, during and after his famous careers. Find out more about this iconic symbol of our country and why he encompasses so much more than just a means to hype car sales on Presidents' Day! The tours will be followed with cakes and punch in the kitchen to complete the celebration. Tours are from Noon - 4 pm, with tours on the hour and, possibly, half-hour if needed (last tour at 3 or 3:30 pm accordingly). Tour size is limited and reservations are required to guarantee admittance. Please call for reservations. A donation of $5 is suggested.

State Theatre New Jersey presents singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Keller Williams and flat-picking guitarist Leo Kottke in the concert event, "Shut the Folk Up and Listen."
