The Kinks, a legendary British band formed around the Davies brothers, Dave and Ray, have a remarkable resume (although, surprisingly, they never had a song hit #1 in the US. That even includes “You Really Got Me” and “Lola”. Not to mention they've even been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“Don’t Forget to Dance”, the follow up hit to the much more successful “Come Dancing” in 1983, was their last song to crack the Top 30, peaking at #29, also in 1983.
