Whether you call it a sub or a hoagie, if you toast it, it's a grinder!

When I lived in New England in the 80's I was introduced to the grinder. We even had them on the menu at a pizza place I worked at as a kid.

You don't really see them around Jersey much, but when I'm making a hoagie or sub at home, I pop it in the oven before I put the cold toppings on. Very easy to do and delicious!
