The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced the ruling Sunday, two days after 23-year-old Pleasantville resident Ronald Williams was found wounded on a city street. He died a short time later at a hospital.

An autopsy determined that Williams died from a gunshot wound. No other injuries were reported in the shooting.

Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive for the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
