A Mount Olive man already is charged with recording a sexual encounter with a minor.

Morris County Prosecutor Frederic M. Knapp said in a statement Phillip Johnson, 28, had been charged in Sept. 8 for recording multiple women engaged in sexual encounters without their knowledge and charged with invasion of privacy and witness tampering.

During the course of the investigation, one of the women told police she was 17 when Johnson recorded her, resulting in addition charges of endangering the welfare of children, permitting a child to engage in child pornography and endangering the welfare of children.

Knapp said investigators from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit continue to try and identify the women in the video. Anyone with information should call the prosecutor's office at 973-285-6262.
