Cops: Drunk NJ mom with kids in car hit police cruiser, badly hurting officer
A Franklin Township police officer was injured when his cruiser was hit by a small SUV driven by a mother who was driving drunk with her three kids, according to police.
Franklin Township Police told 6 ABC Angela Feaster of Glassboro ran a stop sign at the intersection of Route 40 and Tuckahoe Road around 8:30 p.m. pushing officer Clifford Trovilla's cruiser 50 yards down the road known as the Harding Highway and into the woods.
Trovilla was hospitalized via medical helicopter for broken bones and a concussion according to 6 ABC.
Feaster was charged with driving while intoxicated, three counts of child endangerment and assault by auto according to the Courier-Post. She was hospitalized for a broken ankle, the report said. The condition of the children was not known.
