Gov. Chris Christie's presidential campaign is showing signs of life. His polling numbers are moving up in Iowa and New Hampshire and he is now tied for sixth nationally.

During last night's "Ask the Governor" program, Christie said this is along the lines of what he thought all along - that his campaign will peak at the right time. He added that his campaign is doing just fine.

In a crowded field that shows no signs of thinning, Christie may be right. Most impressive is his favorability ratings which had been negative in New Hampshire just a few weeks ago. Now polls show that most voters have a positive view of Christie.

If he does well in Iowa and New Hampshire, more candidates could drop out and move Christie even farther up in the polls.
