State Sen. Barbara Buono will receive the endorsements of several Newark City council members Tuesday and then hold a "listening tour" for Newark residents with Mayor Cory Booker. It will be their first campaign appearance together.

Booker has says his political focus is on helping the Democrat candidate for governor in 2013 and will not announce for U.S. Senate until after the campaign is complete. He is scheduling fundraiser for a Senate run including a large Hollywood event in April.

Republican Governor Christie, meanwhile, is scheduled to meet with a group of senior citizens in an event that's not technically a campaign event, then meet with Orthodox Jewish leaders in one that is a campaign stop.
