Preliminary work, including site mobilization and sign installation, is scheduled to begin Monday, July 8 and will require shoulder closures. All work should end in early 2014.

According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the project will improve motorist safety and extend the pavement lifespan along the full width of the roadway.

Drivers can expect lane closures daily between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., but at least two travel lanes will be maintained throughout construction. Access to all businesses and residences along the highway will remain available.
