From 3 p.m. Saturday to mid afternoon Sunday, hundreds of artists – including children and adults, amateurs and top professionals, will have more than a thousand works of art on display, while 30 bands and musicians be perform a wide variety of music around the clock.

In addition, two muralists will have a friendly 24 hour mural competition, children can visit a special “Kids Zone” and several art “lounges” will be open, encouraging members of the public to participate in various projects.

Joe Kuzemka, the Art All Night Chairman, says the idea is to create a sort of art-musical block party, where everyone is welcome – free of charge – to enjoy art, while helping to promote a sense of community revitalization.

When it first started 5 years ago, Art All Night attracted 17 hundred people, but by last year, that number had grown to about 13 thousand.

The celebration kicks off tomorrow afternoon at 3, in the historic Roebling Wire Works building  off of South Clinton street, and yes, goes all night into the afternoon on Sunday.
