Early voting is now underway in New Jersey for the 2024 elections, and the stakes couldn't be any higher. And with races so incredibly tight, many throughout New Jersey are literally going to be on the edge of their seats come election day.

Yes, the presidential election is going to take front and center but keep in mind that there are many other candidates for different offices also on the ballot. And most change actually happens at the local level, not at the top.

Now, that's not to say those in higher office don't make a difference. They absolutely do, no question there. But when it comes to your community, those in office at that level are more likely to have a bigger impact on you.

I know most of this is common knowledge, and a good portion of those in The Garden State will be voting one way or another. So for those of you who are, here's a little message for you.

Feel free to complain or compliment your government all you want. I, for one, love good political debates and want to be challenged on my views by those who differ from mine. I actually want to understand other points of view as they may change my own way of thinking.

But, I only want to do that with people who vote as they're the only ones who have earned the right to enter that debate. As for those who choose not to vote? Here's another message specifically for you.
