Both OceanFirst Foundation and New Jersey Natural Gas will donate $10 each for the first 1,500 registrants. All donations and donations matched will equally benefit
Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group and The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services. Join the fun and help break the current record of 1,387 held by Ludington, a western Michigan city.

Just as the harvest season winds down, the inaugural After the Harvest Wine & Food event presented by Provident Bank has been launched. The Garden State Wine Growers Association member wineries, the Culinary Arts Institute and Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development has teamed up for this new fall event. Enjoy wine sampling from at least six New Jersey wineries is featured; tastings, culinary pairings, wine tutorials and live music from 1 - 6 p.m. Each ticket is $25 and entitles you to a wristband and a FREE wine glass, which you will pick up on the day of the event (proper ID required). There is also a non-drinker ticket priced at $10.

Glow Walk Run Sanctioned 5k Distance: 3.1 miles starts approximately 5:30 pm, where participants will be treated to a beautiful, panoramic view of the New York City skyline during the final moments of daylight and through the evening hours. This year the Halloween Parade will begin lining up at 4:30 pm at Hamilton Stage followed by the costume parade departing from Hamilton Stage at 5 pm toward RSI Bank. After the costume parade, at 5:30 pm Trunk or Treat will begin on Irving St. at the corner of Cherry St. and head toward Milton Ave. Participants are asked to bring their cars, decorate them in grand Halloween style and pop the trunk. As the parade arrives, children in costume will trunk-or-treat from car to car. Local businesses are welcome and encouraged to participate in this free, fun community event. Please call if you plan to bring a car or want a table to participate in Trunk or Treat. Following Trunk or Treat, Halloween activities will culminate with fireworks at 7 pm.
