2 Gunned Down in Newark

No arrests have been made in what authorities are calling two unrelated homicides in New Jersey's largest city.

The Essex County Prosecutor's Office say 20-year-old Rahmel Johnson was shot near Broome Street in Newark Monday and died at the scene.

Little more than an hour later, authorities say 21-year-old Tariq Romane was shot on North 6th Street. The Newark resident died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities say they don't have any suspects.
