2 Bayonne officers jump into freezing water to save man's life

This week's #BlueFriday honorees are two brave officers from Bayonne whose heroic actions saved a man's life.

Officers Timothy Sullivan and Jeffrey Kaiser were responding to a nearby domestic dispute and during their investigation, came upon a man at Brady's dock. While officers Sullivan and Kaiser attempted to talk to him, the man walked away and subsequently jumped off the dock into the Kill Van Kull.

Officers Sullivan and Kaiser braved the freezing water of the Kill Van Kull and jumped in after the man. These two officers risked their own life to save someone else's with their quick thinking.

The bravery shown by Sullivan and Kaiser is what #BlueFriday is all about. Officers Sullivan and Kaiser deserve to be praised and thanked for going above and beyond the call of duty, risking their lives to save someone else's.
