In a moment of irony today, I was corrected while discussing how no one checks their facts any more. I thought I was reading a typo in a news article when I saw the phrase, "Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania," but apparently, that place exists. See the listener-submitted photo below for proof.

The town is situated along the West Branch Susquehanna River, and earned its name because one of the founding families had migrated there from New Jersey.

Thank you to all our listeners who called in to gently correct me and share this interesting piece of history.
