You might think spenders would be more attractive to the opposite sex, with people liking to be lavished with gifts or nights on the town, but it turns out that research indicates savers are more in demand.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that, on dating websites, savers garner 25% more responses than their free spending counterparts.

Savers are viewed as having higher powers of self-control than their free-spending peers, a new study finds. That kind of discipline can extend into other areas, as well, making life more pleasant for potential mates.
